Hello!

I’m Kallie Schildge. I am a recent Skidmore graduate with a B.A. in Anthropology and Classics. My studies were focused on Archeology, Classical Mythology, Greek Tragedy, and the Ancient Greek Language. I am from Westfield, NJ and currently live outside of Mystic, CT where I enjoy swimming and sailing.

I was a swim instructor for many years, and developed a passion for teaching, at the Groton Long Point Yacht Club. During the summer before my junior year, I took a break from teaching to study traditional Italian painting techniques with San Gemini Preservation Studies. In the summer of 2023, I volunteered at the Ancient Eleon site in Boeotia, Greece with the Eastern Boeotia Archaeological Project thus cementing my love of archaeology. I continued my archaeological education in the summer of 2024 at UMass Amherst’s Bioarchaeology and Forensic Anthropology Field School. If you are interested in learning more about me, check out my resume and my final portfolio reflection!
